Hila Biton, one of the leaders of this project, tells of her experience last year and the preparations for her birthday this year:
"Last year I decided that on my birthday I'd do something memorable. A few eyebrows were raised and some eyes were opened, but despite everything I found myself celebrating my birthday with my friends at a shelter for battered women. We renovated and upgraded the house and turned my birthday into a platform of doing good, of giving and kindness. "
